Ring Making Workshop (Code: SCRD1)

Materialized your creativity and start a new hobby that is fun, quick and highly therapeutic! 
Do it yourself and learn to make your own rings as they are more economical. 
You may even start your own business by learning silversmiths skills.
These workshops will provide you with essential silversmiths skills to make and create your own unique ring.

Basic Level:
Beginner or those who longed for metalworking techniques.

Course Content:
  1. Introduction to types of tools and sterling silver property.
  2. Silver Band Milling Demonstration
  3. Ring Size and structure calculation.
  4. Silver Band Sawing Technique
  5. Ring Shaping(Hammering) 
  6. Ring Soldering
  7. Ring Filling
  8. Finishing and Polishing
  9. Stone Setting: experiencing stone setting with premium quality cubic zirconia.
  10. Tip and Tricks on Basic metalworking.
Designs which you will take home:
From this workshop, you will have the opportunity to create your own unique piece of ring to take home. Designs taught during the workshop would be:
You decide on the positioning of the stone
Make this and bring home


Please note that the ring design may be different from pictures shown above depending on student hands skill. However, methods taught will be standard for this course. We reserve the right to change the content of the course from time to time.

Each Session Consist Group of 4 students : RM350 per student
Come with friends, you get 10% discount for 2 ppl (i.e. RM 630 / 2 ppl)
                                        15% discount for 3-4 ppl (i.e. RM893/3 ppl)

2) We will contact you for appointment. Purpose of the meeting is for you to have a look of the workshop.
3) After that you can pay the fees (you will receive a formal receipt) and confirm class starts date.

    Thx for following my blog. I hv followed yours ^L^. Seldom heard of people allergic to gold coz it is has very stable property. Maybe your r sensitive to the alloy that make it different carats. You must be very proud of your beautiful wife and daughter. Glad you enjoy your life in Malaysia especially the wonderful weather.

    1. Hi Alicia,
      We provide 925 silver maximum 6 g (an average man size weight), additional will be RM6 per gram. Maximum 3 cubic zirconia with size of 1.5 mm, 2 mm ,2.5 mm and 3 mm. Addiotional stone setting is RM 30 per stone.
